Sorry to say this as I love the Jets - but they were in a similar situation last year (i.e. do or die). The real trick is not to get into these situations in the first place.

Jets approaching last 3 games as 'do-or-die' (AP): "Things are still looking up for the New York Jets. After a convincing 26-3 victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday and a few other teams losing, the Jets (7-6) are in the middle of the AFC playoff mix. They've won three straight games, the defense has been dominant and they might even get injured quarterback Mark Sanchez back this week."
